Policies and Procedures
Appointments
We recommend scheduling your appointment at least three weeks in advance for preferred appointment times. However, we do encourage you to check with us on short notice appointments. A credit card number will be used to hold your appointment. For appointments consisting of two or more services, a 50% deposit or gift certificate number is required to reserve your time. Credit cards and gift certificates will be debited according to our cancellation policy.
Cancellations and Fees
Please understand that appointment times are very tightly scheduled and our business depends on it. We require a 48 hour notice of cancellation to avoid a $25 fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the service price. ‘No-show’ appointments will be charged 100% of the service price or full amount of the gift certificate. We understand that illnesses and car trouble are a fact of life and do happen at times. However, we cannot accept financial responsibility for these difficulties should they prevent you from adhering to your commitment to us. To be clear, we do follow our cancellation policy and we expect our clients to do so as well.
Late Arrivals
If you are running more than 10 minutes late we will always do our best to accommodate you. However, we do value the appointment time of all of our clients so it may be necessary to shorten your service in consideration of the following client’s appointment time.
Cell Phones
As a courtesy to our guests and our service providers, please refrain from the use of cellular phones. We advise that ringers be turned off upon entering the building.
Gratuity
The industry standard for gratuity given to all technicians in the beauty field is 15% - 25% of the original service price. Because this is a service environment where tips are graciously given, widely accepted, and greatly appreciated, we expect our customers to honor each provider’s effort in service. Please be generous and award your therapist with a gratuity commensurate with their level of service. You are responsible for respecting the services provided by all therapists. This includes owners, managers, master level and clinical estheticians, waxing specialists and hair stylists – anyone who is providing a service to you. Product prices not included.
Client Parking
There is plenty of parking available in the adjacent lot behind the spa. Additionally, there are three spots available in the front and south side of the building. There is also ample street parking available on Powell Street, Oakland Street and Pressler Ave. You may use other nearby private lots after 5pm and all day on weekends. Towing is otherwise enforced by neighboring lot owners.
BRING YOUR PRODUCTS & MEDICATIONS TO YOUR APPOINTMENTS
At Azure Spa & Skin Clinic we realize that you may be unfamiliar with ingredients in the products and medications you are currently using. That is why we ask that you bring all that you now use or would consider using in the future to your first appointment. Additionally, you may be asked to bring all products to subsequent appointments. Azure Spa’s estheticians are not obligated to perform treatments on those who do not bring these items. Failure to do so could result in cancellation of your appointment.
GIFT CERTIFICATES & VOUCHERS
Gift certificates and vouchers have expiration dates printed on them. Gift certificates and vouchers that are expired will be accepted at half of the face value for 30 days after the expiration date. No gift certificates or vouchers will be accepted once this amount of time has passed.
